Self sustaining lang ba ang mga bagay na kailangan? What if you go deeper. You "allegorically" interpret some events in your life and find some essence and inspiration to those stuffs. Yong hindi masyadong...happy-go-lucky lang ang lahat ng bagay.

I think Sakundes is just living the life of St. Agustine. Agustine really had fun. It was only later when Agustine found "allegory", "essence" and all those stuff that Marc mentioned and became the uptight saint we have today.

So, may pag-asa pa si Marc na ma-convert si Sakundes. I can sense that Sakky is a soul searching for his God, he he he. This is your apostolate, Marc.

Actually I was reading my catechism book a while ago (and days ago also) and saw St. Augustine's name when he tried to know the origin of evil and later on he submitted to idea of God's existence. Parang ganun nalimutan ko na e. Yon pala naalala ko na siya yong saint na dating walang diyos na mahilig sa bisyo tapos one time diba may nakasalubong siyang pokerita tapos pinakita niya ata ang kwelyo nya signifying that he's a priest already and no time for eklas.

Anong "thanks"? "Thanks" dahil hindi ko binuking na tuluyan na kapareho lang ang lifestyle ninyo ni Sakundes?

Im a disciple of Ayn Rand's teachings.. it is well branded upon my spirit that "selfishness" is the greatest virtue.. everything begins and ends with self.. altruism is but a means to a wholly selfish end. there are people who put others before self but in the end it just feeds their self-satisfaction or it just validates their being that what they are doing is right. especially with christians they live for their brothers and love their enemies all for the ultimate promise of salvation. it's nothing but "self" if you see things in a phenomenological sense. talks such as me becoming a lamb of god only makes me laugh my ass off ^_^

lalu na sa werk kase dun samen lahat ng mga straight weh may asawa na, ako nalang ata yung single and in the younger 20s. yung mga natitira belongs to the third sex tas kembers2 lang akesh sa workplace-china kaya madaling lapitin ng gurls hahaha ^_^

and yes.. i enjoy things so much like a child. like hell id give up to an ascetic life of a christian.. they're life-haters.. they invest their time here on earth doing shit so they can live the good life in heaven. it dawned on me that even "if" there's such shit like an afterlife it would really be boring as it is the end to all pursuits. i am more afraid of boredom than i am of hell. there is only one life and we have limited time to enjoy it.. rather than invest in some shit, id choose to make the most out of it.

you cant even make sure who has the right version.. it only takes 2 religions to claim exclusivity to salvation to realize we're all gonna end up in hell ^_^

there are many more people in history deserving to be a saint than those already sanctified.. sainthood is nothing but status created by man. it does not make a difference.. we are all but flesh

Naku kuya Ken wala na talaga akong magagawa diyan. Ahehehe. Iba na ang mind set mo e. Of course si Ateo hindi follower of selfish advocacy. Ahehehe. Hindi nga ba? Medyo may malasakit pa siya ata at siguro in my part as a Christian, I would choose to die for my loved ones. Not physically but everytime I offer sacrifices to them, I practiced dying. It is the dying of my selfish aspirations in life. Dying in my "self" to help the other self. Yes it might be true phenomenologically speaking that I feed the "self" of others but you can't blame me if that's the way I share my blessings to them. That's the mystery of love and charity. Afterall this ends into the virtue of malasakit. I wouldn't brand this as a shit stuff instead the precious opportunity I've done in my life. Of course in my part, subconsciously, I would say naku pag na-impyerno to si Kuya Sak ma-rerealize nya ang lahat. Biruin mo mas gusto pa raw niya ang hell kesa sa boredom pero it's misleading because being in heaven is the anti-thesis of boredom. Anyway, sana maging maligaya ka Kuya Ken sa buhay mo at sana mabiyayaan kami ng yong kaligayahan paminsan-minsan kung gusto mo mag-share para sa self ng iba.
