Ito ang tanong sa mga nagdudunung dunungan sa Bibliya, pero sa katotohanan.Yung mga protestante nga daw halos boong bibliya ay memorize nila pero kung tanungin mo kung saan galing ang bibliya ang lalayo ng mga sagot. Mahirap bang tanggapin na ang Iglesia Katolika ang gumawa niyang bibliyang iyan? Magpasalamat kayo na mga pekeng Kristiyano dahil kung di dahil sa Catholic Church wala yang mga pekeng sekta at relihiyon niyo. Gusto niyo isa isahin ko kayo INC, baptist, born again at lahat ng mga sektang protestante arian, trinitarian man o Oneness.

Even if our Protestant brothers deny it, their acceptance of this book is an implied admission of the authority of the Catholic Church... unless of course they can prove they are the parent, the author and maker under God, of the Bible.

It is possible, however, that the Protestants would accept the Catholic role in gathering the biblical books but will not accept its superiority in authority.

It is actually similar to how Christians treat your Jewish forebears. You would readily admit that the Jews are the compilers and even authors of the books of the OT but that does not give Judaism and the current rabbis any superior authority in interpreting the OT book in the Bible.

Pero di naman yung buong kinompile ng Judaism ang aming sinunod eh, may srili kaming Canon, at ang Catholic Church ay siya nga mismo ang Complete Judaism eh.

a. Ang mga Judeo ang nag-compile ng OT, pero di sila ang totoo. Sabi mo nga ang RCC ang Complete Judaism.

b. Ang RCC ang nag-compile ng OT at NT, pero di sila ang totoo.

Kasi Ateo ang tinutukoy mo naman ay interpretasyon na sa OT. Yong pagkanon wala namang ginawa ang mga hudyo doon pero nagpapasalamat kami dahil sa kanila ang unang revelation at unang bahagi ng Kasulatan. Bottom line nga po dito ang Catholic Church mismo ang unang bumuo ng kumpletong bibliya. Bahala na ang ibang mga sekta kung may sarili silang interpretasyon basta ang dahilan kaya nagkaroon ng bibliya ay wala pong iba kundi ang Santa Iglesya. Very Happy

Ganon din ang mga Evangelical, nagpasalamat sila sa inyo pero may sarili silang canon na iba sa inyo.

Dyan nagka-iba ang mga Pastafarians. Ang aming canon ay in-email na lang ng Divine Pasta. Wala ng canon debate at intrigues. Sana ganoon din sa inyo.

Ateo, kinikilala namin ang Judaism dahil sa kanila galing ang aming Cristo na nagtatag ng Simbahan. Di naman namin lubusang itinatakwil ang Judaism sapagkat kung titingnan natin, sa kanila namin kinopya yung pag aalay pero nasa tamang pamamaraan, sa kanila din namin ginaya yung mgaaa pista at marami pang iba, pati nga templo nila halos parehas sa amin. Pero ang pagkakaiba namin ay nakita at nakilala na nmin ang Messiah o ang Cristo, pero sila di naniwala sa Messiah na naksalamuha nila. Di namin lubusang tinatanggal ang karapatan ng mga Hudyo sa kaligtasan, dahil ang Diyos na ang mismong nakakaalam diyan. Dahil ang Catholic Church ay iglesia ng mga Hudyo at ng mga Hentil. Pero kung sa Canon, dahil ang Diyos, si Cristo ipinasa mismo kay Pedro na unang Santo Papa ang mga susi, ang authority, kaya nasa amin na mismo ang karapatan para Icanon ng Bibliya. Ang huling Canon ng Judaism kasi ay nagawa noong 90AD pangontra sa pagkilala kay Cristo o para tanggalin ang mga naganap na hula kay Cristo.

God’s written word was entrusted to the Jews, but he never provided them with an inspired table of contents. For that reason, there has been ample disagreement over the canon, especially among Jews.

From Wiki.......... Today, there is no scholarly consensus as to when the Jewish canon was set.

What is certain is that there was no common canon among the Jews at the time of Christ. There was more than one canon and so which canon should one accept?

RCC never claimed na hindi totoo ang Jewish Canon, though from RCC's point of view kulang ang revelation of truth sa Canon nila, hence masasabi natin na part of truth lang ang hawak ng mga Judio.

Kaya lalabas na illogical ang mga Evangelicals and the rest of Protestant denoms kasi tinatanggap nila ang teaching authority ng Biblia pero hindi nila tanggap kung paano nabuo at kung sino ang bumuo nito.

actually the Catholic Old Testament was taken from the Septuagint, the Septuagint was used by most Jews especially in Palestine, it was quoted and alluded more than 60% of the time by Jesus and the Apostles in the NT as compared to the Masoretic texts which the Jews use now

the Jewish Council of Jamnia/Javneh decided upon a Canon of Scriptures 97 AD, they REJECTED THE SEPTUAGINT arguing it was Gentile tainted and the fact that the Christians used them

they also looked into the Gospels and rejected them also



the Catholic Church has used the Septuagint FROM THE BEGINING
