Liezl wants daughters to revert to Muslim faith

MANILA, Philippines – Robin Padilla’s estranged wife, Liezl Sicangco, ardently wishes to have daughters Kylie and Quennie return to their Muslim faith.

Apparently, Sicangco is bothered with the vast changes she has been seeing in them since they embarked on a career in show business.

A big problem for Sicangco is the manner by which her children dress up of late.

“Hindi ko na kasi nagustuhan ang ayos nila ngayon," said she in a recent interview with PEP. "Mabuti pa dati nung Muslim sila, hindi ko nakikitang naka-mini-skirt sila.”

Sicangco denied that she is airing her concern to stir up an issue just as her ex-husband’s first film with new wife Mariel Rodriguez, “Tum, My Pledge of Love,” is set to be shown nationwide in April.

Sicangco insisted that she is simply concerned with the welfare of her children, especially Kylie, with whom she hasn’t spoken in a while. She hopes that through the interview, she would be able to reach out to her daughter’s handlers.

Furthermore, she added, "Gusto ko lang sana iparating sa dalawa kong anak, Kylie at Queenie, na bumalik na sila sa pagka-Muslim,” said she.

“Sa nakikita ko kasi, hindi nakakabuti sa mga anak ko ang pag-aartista kung 'di rin naman sila nakakasunod sa kagustuhan ng Panginoong Allah.”

Sicangco revealed that she herself just returned to the Muslim faith very recently.

"Inaamin ko hindi po ako perfect na tao, bumalik lang ang faith ko two months ago. Mahirap po talaga na wala ang Panginoon sa buhay ng tao. Sana magtuluy-tuloy na ang aking pananampalataya.”

In Sharia, the sacred law of Islam, reverting back to the faith is allowable if one had practiced ritualistic cleansing prior to proclaiming Allah as the one and only true God.

All Muslims are required to observe the five daily prayers, fasting, obligatory charity, and the Hajj—a pilgrimage to Mecca. Under strict interpretation of the law, Muslim women are also required to cover all of their bodies except hands and face.

Both younger Padilla’s are currently in the country with their actor father and have started their own showbiz careers.

Masaya na po ang mag-asawa sa kani-kanilang partner kung saan unang nag-asawa si Liezl then sumunod si
Robin Padilla.

Ang naging problema lang kasi ni Liezl (I understand her) ay ang pananamit o posibilidad na malabag ng mga anak niya ang Islam.

If Liezl Sicango feels that Islam is good for her, then I can only respect her decision and wish her well. But I feel Robin Padilla still comes out too much as a playboy, as if nothing has changed.

When Robin Padilla separated with Liezl and she (Liezl) married again, I thought that she back to Christian faith but she will reverted again and adopted Islam faith that's why she admonished her daughters and asking them to repent and return to Allah.

About Robin Padilla, when he became Muslim and followers of Islam he will changed and no more news that he still a playboy actually he is active and open a foundation to help poor children.

Gordon, gaano ka kasigurado na kaya pumunta ng abroad si Liezl kasi may posibilidad na hindi mabuti at matapat na asawa si Robin Padilla, ito ba ay may basihan o nasa isip mo lang.

6) Nagkaroon siya ng foundation kung saan hindi niya ginawa noong siya ay hindi pa Muslim.




Ayan po at kung gusto mo pa ay dagdagan natin kung ano ang nabago sa kanya since naging Muslim siya at kung papaano mo nasabing hinihiwalayan siya ni Liezl kasi baka hindi siya mabuti at matapat na asawa.


Pasensiya kana Gordon kung tagalog iyan kasi mas mabilis akong mag-isip kung wikang tagalog ang ginagamit ko.

Iyon na nga ang problema kung bakit itong si Liezl ay nagbalik loob sa Islam at pinayuhan niya ang mga anak niyang mga babae sapagkat nawawala na sila at may posibilidad na hindi nila matupad ang kautusan na ito na hindi lang sa Quran kundi maski sa bibliya ninyo.

Iyan kasi ang concern ni Liezl kaya niya nasabi ito sa mga anak niya, kowt ko lang sinabi ni Liezl sa interbiyu.

Ngayon mali ba ang payo ng isang tunay na mananampalataya sa kanyang anak, ito po si Liezl.




Ganito po ang kasuotan ng kababaihan.

Ganito naman kinatatakutan ni Liezl na suotin ng mga anak niya.

agree ako kay liezl. sa totoo lang iba na ang pananamit ngayon ng kanyang mga anak na babae mula ng mag-artista, masyado ng reavealing at yun ang bawal sa mga kababaihan sa Islam.
