Seriously, as a non-theist, obviously walang problema ang wet dreams, except lang kung ang nanay mo ang naglalaba ng iyong bedsheets.

Ewan ko lang sa mga conservative Christians dito. Baka naka-depende yan sa kung ano ang dream mo at the moment of wetness. Dapat seguro ang dream mo ay napatungkol sa procreative process with your legal partner. Kung wild s*x ang inyong dream with your sexy neighbor, or, worse, with your macho neighbor, ay baka di yan pupwede.

Nocturnal emissions are not subjective evil, since they are not intended by the person having them, But they remain an objective evil, because they are not something which God intends, since ejaculation is something which in the proper order of nature should happen within a sexual intercourse in a marriage.

It's a natural means for the male body system to flush out semen that may become toxic when stocked for longer periods of time... especially when we don't want to wank them out for some reason, and urinating them out in bits is not enough. Better if you have a wife to help you flush them out... it depends on the wife if she wants to take them in every time you do it, of course.

There is no medical evidence of which I am aware that this is an essential function of the prostate or of the male reproductive system.

I just based it on the studies that males who don't 'm' or don't have the opportunity to release semen usually end up having prostate cancer. Smile

Moral evil is always an act of will and intellect, in other words, it occurs when someone knowingly chooses an immoral act. There is culpability in moral evil. This is the definition of sin, to knowingly choose what is evil.

Is there any evil apart from a knowing choice. Or does evil only occur when we choose, as if there were nothing objective about evil, as if it were only subjective?

In many approaches to ethics, the only evil is said to be moral evil. Sometimes this is presented as if what is good and what is evil is determined by our own subjective intent and understanding. However, this approach is contrary to the teaching of Aquinas, and it leads in the end to the heretical claim that the goodness or lack thereof in any act is found in the human will and intellect, as if the moral object of the act were nothing other than the object of the will, and not something inherent in the act itself.

According to Aquinas, evil is a privation of good. There is objective evil, whenever a good that ought to be present, within the proper order created by God, is lacking. And then if that objective evil is knowingly chosen, a moral evil (i.e. sin) occurs. This idea that some evil is objective is essential to a
proper understanding of morality.

Things that occur without use of will and intellect are not sins. A sin is a human act, meaning an act that is knowingly and willingly chosen.

From what I know there is a beautiful thing in Islam about wet dreams.

A person who had wet dreams should take a bath because if not his prayers will not be accepted by allah.

i'd say god designed the penis and vagina poorly it ejaculates unintentionally.

But, Yidda, there seems to be not much to back-read. Vril is correct in the sense that our sexual organs seem to be leaking of sexual fluids, without our conscious control. If God thinks that nocturnal emissions are objective evil, to use your term, then he could have designed a less leaky body parts. Why didn't he?

This is due to being in the fallen state. It may sometimes be a consequence of sins, such as sexual thoughts, during the day. It is generally not a sin, but a result of being a sinner.

There are three types of evil:

1. moral evil, which is sin

2. physical evil, which is harm or disorder

3. metaphysical evil, which is finiteness

And because we are in the fallen state, we are subject to certain kinds of physical evil: suffering, injury, illness, various disorders of the body, etc. This is not sin, but it is called a type of evil because it is disordered.
