Siguro nga personal iyan buddy kaya lang dapat din tayong magpapakatutuo kung naranasan ba natin o hindi, mahirap kasing punahin natin ang ibang tao pero tayo pala ay nag-commit din tayo kung pagkakasala iyan, tama ba buddy.

The problem with your definition is what is the basis for right and wrong? Is it reason? But different persons reason to very different conclusions on morality. They believe in right and wrong, but they are left with only opinion as to what is or is not right (moral),As I have said too.

Now we may differ only in determining the morality of a certain act if it is moral or not(we have a basis).Still it is Not subjective, as if this is right because I said so(your definition).

How can you determine "in your morality" why that act is wrong or right, with certainty,of what basis? opinion?

In Catholic Christianity the basis for moral law is is God. For God is Goodness itself.

Why is it christians then differs in belief on what is moral or not? with this it is important first to answer what determines the morality of an act?

In determining the morality of the act some say it is not written in the bible some say according to their opinion etc... of course there is only one truth between contradicting belief so. Morality is truthfully Absolute. We just have to established first what determines the morality on an act.

As long as masturbation is good for males, as it is proven to reduce the risk of prostate cancer, then i'm all for it! Especially when there are cases when no female partner is available to help.

Oo nga at dumaraan sa isang lalaki ang masturbation pero sa amin alam naming hindi katanggap tanggap iyon sa mata nang Diyos... Nasa pagpili na nang isang individual kung patuloy siyang mabuhay sa kalaswaan...

Ang nakakatawa kasi dito ay ina aring katanggap tanggap nitong mga nag proprotesta at pinapalabas na maganda ito sa mata nang Diyos.... tama ba ako Dugz na iyan ang sinasabi mo sa nauna mong poste?

As I stated, general morality is based on what a community finds acceptable and un-acceptable. It's basically a result of tradition and community philosophy. It's not so much an opinion as it seems more like a public consensus.

As I pointed out, it is observable. You are free to disprove my statements by showing otherwise. Let's try monogamy, to narrow the field.

If you're asking me about my personal code, I follow the Rotary's Four Way Test. Or, in more simple terms, the Golden / Silver Rule.

And that's just it. "In Catholic Christianity," that is so. However, as I pointed out before, it is not the same with other groups.

The very scenario you posited (Christians having different views on what is moral) illustrate the very thing I stated - general morality is not absolute and is based on traditions and philosophy. The division in christian thought, for example, is due to the different philosophies each group espouses. The Catholic Church, for instance, condemns the use of artificial methods of birth control but INC's (based on a news report) do not.

The Amish practice polygamy but many other christian denominations see that as adultery. We see pederasty as a deviant criminal practice but such was a common thing in Ancient Rome.
