Since most of the posters here are of the religious inclination, here's something for your cell phones:

S60 bible reader - an easy to use bible reader for mobile phones.

S60V1 (e.g: Nokia 3650, 3660, Siemens SX1, etc) - http://www.compactbyte.com/symbianbible/s60biblev1-0.98.sis
S60V2 (e.g: Nokia 6600, 7610, etc) - http://www.compactbyte.com/symbianbible/s60biblev2-0.98.sis
S60V3 (e.g: Nokia E61, E50, etc) - http://www.compactbyte.com/symbianbible/s60biblev3-0.98.sis

You'll need to download PDB bible files for them. I have two (Complete KJV and NIV) but I can't remember where I got them. If I can't find the link, I'll just upload them to rapidshare.

You can try searching the net. Maybe you'll find some links to files that are compatible. I found this site but I don't know if the files there are compatible. http://www.biblestudyguide.org/ebooks-bible/index.htm

Instructions for use:

1. install the s60 reader in your phone (save the file in your memory card then install it)

2. save the pdb files in your memory card

3. use the update bibles command of the s60 bible.

4. select the bible you want to use.

For our Muslim friends, I'm still looking for a Quran reader. The S60 reader, as far as I have tested it, has no compatible Quran file. Will post the link as soon as I find one. Smile

Vity's Free Rapid Downloader. Ever tried downloading for free from Rapidshare and the other file hosting sites? Do you hate the wait? Well this program will do the waiting for you. Simply copy the link to the file you want to download (from the file hosting site) and the program will download them one at a time. You no longer need to manually visit the links to get your next file. I usually just enter a bunch of links into it and leave it overnight.

It's also easy to use and it doesn't need installation. Just extract the files to a folder, double-click the frd.exe file and the program starts. Entering links is even easier. Once you've opened the program, just copy the link (highlight, right-click, copy on the address bar or right-click, copy shortcut in a browser window) and it is automatically intercepted by the program. All you need to do is click start for the downloading to begin.

Bonus: It can also download videos from youtube. Just copy the link of the page.

anyway, may na-discover lang akong program na pwedeng i-compress yung size ng video file without losing its quality, its called 'virtualdub'.

ginagamit ko sya kapag nag-uupload ako ng video, para mas mabilis.
