I dont attend catholic mass anymore but whenever she's getting the feeling she'll ask me to attend their methodist mass. i have no qualms about that and im unaffected. yoko lang sa mga born-agen(?) mass weh ubod ng tagal around 2hours. yung sa katoliko pa nga lang gumegewang nako sa antok weh pano pa kaya yung sa iba? lols +_+

pero okie lang basta masaya si gf, tsaka solb na ngaun yung church nila at centralized na (ASTEG! kahit san wula pa ko nakitang simbahan na CENTRALIZED! bweheheh). other than that she knows full well that im an antichrist pero it's not a biggie in our relationship. we never talk about god (except when she's motivating me that god will help me etc). her ffamily does not know about the extent of my EVILNESS (lol) but they do know that i have radical (COOL) disposition regarding religion.

good thing i've seen from methodists is that they dont discriminate other religions and that they are very socially connected. may individual participation sila sa mass nila di tulad ng katoliko na one-man show, so you'd feel that you really matter and you really belong.

I have a soft spot with methodists and i'll save them from the blasphemous teachings of my dark gospel.. but as for INCs... they better get ready for some serious bloodletting @_@

so far im good with the GF.. it's easy to find women these days (especially those with loose morals j3j3j3) pero finding a wife-material is one in a million. so im kinda enjoying the last stages of my hedonistic ways and i'll be living the hermetic life (lolerz) in a coupla years ^_^

nakow aku ay laki sa isang katolikong angkan kay kabisado ko na yang mga seremonyas na yan mula nung musmos pa lamang meh lolz. yung mga lola ko madalas aku isama pag may padasal nung panahon ni cory at ni ramos. wula akse libangan mga katandaan nun at di pa uso fezzbuk or YM kaya ang recreation lang nila pag gabe weh puro padasal. nako inaabot kame ng ilang oras kakarosaryo at ilang dasal na di ko na matandaan. ang gusto ko lang weh pagkatapos ng padasal weh yung kainan.. syempre basta libre masarap lolz +_+

the only thing worth my time with masses would be the sermons.. it irks meh and enrages me to no end about all the bullcrap spewing from the priests' mouth. im all facepalm mode everytime the sermon hits the floor lols ^_^

of course id love to just stand there and challenge the presider to a debate, but of course i must observe proper decorum lols ^_^

Of course that's the best thing you can do during mass kuya. LOL! What if you have a deal with yourself? Let's say you try not to be skeptic to Christianity for a week. You try to understand the feeling of having a God. I hope you would do it since wala namang mawawala sa'yo e. You said you'll be forever atheist right? So why not try that stuff? Let's say if there's a miracle going to happen. Ahehehe!

Naka relate ako sa post mo na ito... lately kasi may chatmates ako na mga 'sensitive' clairvoyants pa nga yung iba, and i joined their group. Member na ako hehe. More on the universal guardian spirits ang approach dun, no talk of religious beliefs and stuff. I'm now a spiritual atheist hehe But of course nasa back pa rin ng mind ko yung about the 'Demon Haunted World" ni Carl Sagan, pati na rin yung "Enemies of Reason" ni Dawkins... but. what the heck, i'll see and observe what happens from my point of view.

Spiritual atheism is good. According to studies, spirituality is actually built into our genes (as a result of thousands of years of having deluded, spiritual, faithful ancestors). So, it is actually more fun and more natural to continue to indulge your spiritual need even as you rejected its theological underpinnings.

That's true... i think even Sam Harris indulges with such things. Parang i was thinking, life is too short to indulge ourselves with utilitarian and practical stuff alone. Siguro nag spark sa akin ito after watching Zeitgeist and Acharya S. and things like those. As far as me being an atheist - it's still there, but not that it's the headlining part of me. It's just a label anyway. And i still don't subscribe to a master-slave set-up. And even if what theists' think of God stands right in front of me, i won't think of it as 'God'... the term's so much jaded IMO. So now the whole religion/spiritual trend for me is a toss up between psychology/metaphysics and ancient astronaut hehehe

Element, that's nice to hear. Hmmmm what if one day you'll encounter an angel perfectly being described in the Bible and he became, at least, your pal? Anyway, I hope this is not just your way of denial when you try to experience spirituality stuff and is still persistent to resent of the possible circumstance that could lead you in some enlightenment in the existence of God. I mean, you must be fair really when you attempt to be "religious". These phenomena isn't in the field of science so at least you're going beyond the idea of your skepticism. Oh God does miracles so I hope He appears to you in one of your activities though I know you would not recognize Him.

My claim to know of such things now is 'not to sound' that i know everything. I just think of things in terms of, say -- the existence of Giant squids, which decades/centuries ago was categorized as mythological creatures.

I think that i've stressed in previous statements of mine that i don't tend to put finalities or conclusions on a lot of things. With God beliefs though, it's either we quantify what (a)God (Gods/gods/god) really is, or it's place remains in the realm of the metaphysical/psychological, ergo 'cerebral pursuits'... that's all i'm saying.
