Hair coverering for Christians

I have a follow up question on this. Why do Christians ignore clear commands from the Bible like this above but create new commands where none was written such as prohibition against pornography or masturbation?

Actually, mayroon din akong nakikitang iilan na nagsusuot niyan (Belo) pero karamihan ay mga matatanda na, ang kadadalagahan ngayon ay hindi na nagsusuot nito.

Pero bakit nga ba hindi na nagsusuot ang karamihan buddy ?

Oo nga, namimilosopo pa si Fred na lahat daw tayo ay may head covering except sa mga kalbo. E, ipinagbawal nga ni Pablo ang head covering sa mga lalaki eh. Sa mga babae lang iniutos ang head covering.

Baka pag meron nang Third Vatican Council i-enforce uli yang belo na yan...

Tama ang observation mo igan pagdating sa mga may eded na. Sa mga kabataan naman ay ganun nga konti na lang din.

Actually ang mga kasamahan ko sa prayer meeting ay nagbebelo kapag nagsisimba. Mga dalaga at binata pa ang karamihan sa mga kasamahan namin.

Bakit Ateo natry mo na bang magbelo o kung sakaling sabihi ni Great Pasta na bahala kayo kung magbebelo kayo o hindi ay gagawin mo?

That's a diversionary question, my dear Fred. Sino ang nag-alis at anong basehan sa pag-alis ng belo? Bakit hindi nag-rally ang mga obispo na ibalik ito dahil nasa Bible ito eh? Di ba maya't maya ay nag-aalsa ang mga obispo laban sa RH bill, sex education at gay rights. Bakit di nila gawing causa ang belo, e talaga namang nasa bible yan?

Scripture does require women to wear a veil, in the passage by Saint Paul in 1 Cor 11.

A woman should not wear the veil on her head, until she is wearing it first on her heart.

Many women wear the veil on their head, but not on their heart. They wear a veil, but then they speak and act like a man, and they try to take roles of leadership, authority, and teaching over men. If she is not wearing the veil on her heart (by this inner respect and humility), then it is useless and even a hypocrisy for her to wear the veil on her head.

Thanks for confirming the scriptural basis of the veil, Yidda. Your post is nice but it did not answer the question of this thread. Why is the veil not practiced now? Why are the bishops not up in their arms in enforcing this? The CBCP is always up in their arms on many things -- Hacienda Luisita, RH Bill, Gay rights, sex ed -- but curiously they are silent on the issue of the veil, which is a clear scriptural provision.

Iyon nga ang napansin ko na kadalasan ay mga babaeng matanda lang ang nag-belo kaya lang sa simbahan lang, what about sa labas buddy?

Ang mga dalaga ay wala kang makikitang nakabelo sa labas ng simbahan.
