Hebrews 9:10 - The Sabbath is no longer binding
Hebrews 9:8 The Holy Spirit is signifying this, that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed while the outer tabernacle is still standing,
Hebrews 9:9 which is a symbol for the present time. Accordingly both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make the worshiper perfect in conscience,
Hebrews 9:10 since they relate only to food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until a time of reformation.
1. Brown: Heb. 9:10 speaks of the time of a right and better order (diorthwsis), which has begun with the coming of Christ and is contrasted with the provisional nature of the OT covenant (NIDNTT 3:351, Right).
2. Kittel: Acc. to Hb. 9:10 the sacrificial laws of the OT, like the statutes concerning Brwmata and pomata, are only dikaiwmata sarkos, "carnal ordinances". That is, they are laws which relate only to man's physical, earthly existence, which is delivered up to temptation and death. They cannot reach beyond this existence. Hence they are only "imposed until the time of a better order" (Hb. 9:10b). Along with the whole of the old covenant, the rules of food and drinks are set aside by the new covenant for all those for whom it is present (TDNT 6:145, pinw).
3. Kittel: In accordance with the general line of thought in Hb. we read of the sacrificial ministry of the OT in 9:10 that the offerings and the whole cultus could affect only the external man, but not the inner being. Hence the cultus was only a temporary plan in God's dealings with man. It lasted until the setting up of the order of the fulfilled time, until the time when the Law and the prophets were replaced by the kairos diorthwsews, i.e., until the time of the true order (TDNT 5:450, diorthwsis).
The entire Old Covenant is no longer binding and including in the Old Covenant was Sabbath observance. Since Sabbath observance is not repeated in the New Covenant it is longer binding.
If anyone disagrees please cite a lexicon/dictionary to refute what I have written above.

Re: Hebrews 9:10 - The Sabbath is no longer binding
Does the Ten Commandments address to this: "since they relate only to food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body"?
Can you show it in the scriptures?
