Who needs a divorce?

Yan ang gustu ko sayu gin weh.. you have such "progressive morals" j3j3j3 ^_^

I would say think a thousand times if you really want to spend the rest of your life with one person.

Marriage is a church or religious term. We call it Civil Union. Civil union is there to protect both parties legally if problems arise during the relationship which includes property inheritance, child support, property conjugation, etc.

No, Fred, studies show that separation is not good enough. Abused women who merely separated have been forced to return to their husband. This is because of economic reasons -- they cannot afford to live alone.

Divorce is economically advantageous on the aggrieved party in two ways: (1) he/she can ask for support (alimony); (2) she can find another husband, thus becoming economically viable again.

however awkward it is.. there really should be an option for prenup. kung hiwalay then hiwalay.. wala nang strings after the seperation.

What if lagyan nalang ng expiration dates ang marriage, tapus 'renew' nalang ng 'renew' if they want to continue on.

That maybe true if the wife has no job to sustain herself and her children. At any rate, the parents, i believe, will be there to assist their daughter moreso during that time. And so divorce still not an option.

The wife can always ask for no. 1 but cannot do the no. 2.\

Finding another husband is not an assurance that divorced woman can be viable again.

Hey, why blame the church for Kris' misdemeanors? Why is it always like that? Besides it's a personal matter already and we don't know what really happened in their marriage life. Though, I admit Kris really doesn't look nice anymore sine she's linked to Philip Salvador, Joey Marquez, James Yap (and otehrs?) Gawd, people have their own prerogatives in life and the church should not monopolize them. That's simply illogical.

Yes! Ngunit pag lumalabas na hindi pala sila conpatible, eh di antayin nalang nila ang expiration date and mag decide sila if they still want to work it out (especially if there are kids), continue it or end it.

We're simply saying that if the Aquino family has been very close with the Church, they should have guided Kris in the right path. But that's ideal of course... Christ after all came for the sinners/misguided, not the Saint. Razz
