"time of impurity" refers to a womans menstrual period. During a womans menstrual period, a woman is considered infertile. This prohibition in scripture implies that IT IS IMMORAL TO CONSCIOUSLY HAVE SEX WITHOUT A DESIRE FOR PROCREATION

Rev. Fr. Gordon, I don't agree. You are scraping the bottom of the barrel looking for anti-RH argument. The OT is superseded, you only use it to dig up outdated tribal practices.

You quoted the OT prohibition against having sex with a menstruating woman and you give it a modern twist - interpretation that is anti RH.

But if the OT is valid, then you need to accept the entire package of OT prohibitions against menstruation. Here they are:

On the contrary, my interpretation is still being followed by religious jews of today. In fact they are more strict than Catholics To be a "good" husband, a man must make love to his wife at least twice a week. The use of condoms (unless used to prevent the transmission of disease) is not kosher.
