Pasta: Is it just coincidence?

Guys, if only you open up your heart and think about if for a moment.

a. What is the most popular food in the entire planet? The spaghetti, of course.

b. What food will your mom prepare if it is your birthday? Spaghetti again. Long life! Is it just coincidental that Spaghetti is associated with Life?

c. What is the very first dish that your girlfriend will prepare to demonstrate that she is ready for domestic bliss with you? Spaghetti, of course! Spaghetti is associated with procreation.

d. You scour the entire planet and the Spaghetti is sour and tangy (tomato). But in the blessed isles of the Far East, the Spaghetti is sweet. Coincidence or divine mystery?

e. The spaghetti dish is not complete without the pasta strand, the cheese and the sauce. Voila! It is the divine trinity. Each is unique but the three combines to form the divine spaghetti. Three ingredients in one God.

There are many "coincidences", guys. But they are really hidden messages in these last days. The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the true God. Open up your hearts.

Do you want ground beef with it or sliced hotdogs?

How about with carbonara? With it's Trinity of bacon, egg and cream? Is carbonara sent by 'The Evil One' to confuse the people as to which is the True God in these last days? I'm deeply confused since i like carbonara more than spaghetti.

Thank God, element, for pointing it out. Carbonara is a cult! Did you notice the bacon? Bacon is prohibited in many religions including some in Christianity, in Islam as well as in Pastafarianism.

During the Middle Ages, there was a heretical group that tried to destroy the tomato-based Holy Sauce by killing all tomato plants. We called it the Tomato Rescension. Thankfully, the forces of goodness prevailed.

We Pastafarians believe that there are more spaghetti lovers in the world than there are Muslims and Christians combined. The only religious unity can be achieved through the divine Pasta (pesto be upon him).

p.s. my red horse is actually Pegasus, he he he. During the Second Coming of the Divine Pasta, He will ride in a red horse with a sexy female companion. But please don't ask me details about the Pasta Revelations because this naughty horse has caused me to be banned in the other site.

By the way, the Spaniards are still in the business of killing all those tomatoes in one of their annual festivities, the Dark Ages may still be upon them... thankfully, they never run out of supply. Ahh, you are referring to the La Tomatina, the Spanish festival of throwing tomatoes at each other. Actually, walang masama niyan. Hindi naman nauubos ang kamatis eh. Actually, pinapayagan yan sa Pastafarianism (di ko lang maala kung sinong prophet namin ang nagsabi niyan). Masarap naman kasing magtapon ng hinog na kamatis.

Actually, sa Pasta heaven, allowed kang magtapon na overripe na kamatis sa mga nakakainis sa iyo, halimbawa sa boss mo o sa forum mod.

I can't remember the exact verse, but the Scripture said, "If someone hits you on one cheek, turn around and throw an overripe tomato at the offender."

I see... anyway, i remember reading somewhere that the One True God keeps revealing Himself in 'mysterious ways', even within the Jewish holy practice of circumcision itself. He constantly reminds the people that even He has authority over Jewry by the phenomena we Filipinos call 'pangangamatis'.

Fred, as a Catholic you, of course, know for a fact that God can assume the appearance of food but remains truly God. After all, both Catholicism and Pastafarianism are carbohydrate-based religions. Your God is transubstantiated into a wafer (bread) while ours is into spaghetti. They look like food, taste like food, er, er, quack like food , but they are God.

In that way, Pastafarianism is closest to Catholicism. Agree, brother Fred? How about you, Element, do you agree?

Hmmm... indeed there seems to be some gastronomic connection between these two religious beliefs. Does that mean Catholicism is closer to the 'Truth' than those other religious beliefs who don't share in this palatable gastronomic experience?
