Oo nga Bro Fred puro blunder yun tira ng white dyan hehe..nabasa ko lang yung king-pawn openings, then most of the time sa youtube na lng ako nanonood ng mga strategies. BTW our very own GM Wesley So is a very talented kid pagdating sa chess. I've seen some of his games posted on youtube.

Tuloy mo lang yan bro. Medyo tinatamad na ko ngayong tumingin sa ganyan. Pag meron lang tournament sa office namin ay doon lang ulit ako nag-aaral, pag wala, tumitingin-tingin na lang ako.

Di ko nga alam at biglang nawala tong si Pooch. Naudlot ang laban namin. Nakatulugan yata eh.

Hahaha..tinatamad din ako bro. Wala kasi mahilig mag-chess sa mga kasamahan ko sa trabaho. Hindi na chess pieces ang mino-move..baso na >.< hehehe. Minsan lang makalaro pag nadalaw yung manager namin sa amin.

Last time I have given this puzzle was ....ago , I got this from my Uncle when I'm still a Kid of 9.

Here is the story:

Dagohoy - (who's handling the white pieces) said. hey "chess master" you better quit now. It's my move and your mate in 1...

Chess Master - (replied ) ... Alam ko Bossing pero mas pahirapan pa natin... Kaya mo ba akong i MATE sa white Pawn na iyan!!! ... sabay hamon ni Chess Master.

Dagohoy - (a chess prodigy thinks for a while and said) ... Alright I'll mate You , with that white Pawn.

Chess Master - Wait! wait a second "Bossing" I'm not yet finish... Everyone can make a Pawn Mate in that position! What I'm challenging you is to MATE me with that (white)Pawn all moves should all be LEGAL. And most importantly your King should be immobile(not allowed to move)... CAN YOU? will you accept the Challenge ...says CM

Dagohoy - laughs and said I can do that CM .... in one condition too! You should promote that last Pawn into a Queen and we have a deal...

summary: Pawn Mate

1.white to move and mate's Black King via Pawn move at b7 square

2.white King is not allowed to move at all.

3. Black Pawn should be promoted to a Queen at (d1 square)

4. No stalemate and no other piece mate except for that white Pawn.

Take the challenge guys?

unlimited number of moves is allowed but if I were to take it 9 moves are enough.
