Re: read! In the Name of your Lord Who has created (all that exists).
Sahih Bukhari:
"The Prophet used to recite the Holy Qur'an to gabriel (Book #31, Hadith #126)"
Sahih Muslim:
"and Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) recited to him the Qur'an; (Book #030, Hadith #5718)"

Re: read! In the Name of your Lord Who has created (all that exists).
IRefresh ko lang po sa inyo:
http://www.islamic-dictionary.com/index.php?word=iqra
Word: Iqra
Meaning: Saying 'Iqra`' to someone is to order them to read. When Prophet Muhammed (SAW) was meditating in the cave of hiraa he was ordered to read by angel Jibraeel (Gabriel). Iqra` was the first word of the Quran that came upon the Prophet (SAW).
True Form: اقرء
Grammar: word;
Explanation The angel repeated the order: iqra! Read! as Muhammed explained he was unable to read, then Jibraeel said:
[96.1] Read in the name of your Lord Who created.
[96.2] He created man from a clot.
[96.3] Read and your Lord is Most Honorable,
[96.4] Who taught (man to write) with the pen
[96.5] Taught man what he knew not.
These are the first verses of the Quran that came down to the Prophet. Surprising isn't it!
Sa islamic dictionary po galing yan...hindi nila inemphasize kung read ay recite din.
mg react po sana kayo.

sana magresponce si ravlam ng hindi puro laway
Naku sinagot kana ni jewel diyan, nagmamagaling ka kasi sa isang katuruan na hindi naman iyo.
Papaano nga naman magbasa ang propheta gayong ang linaw ng sabi ng Allah subhana wa taalah, ito basahin mo ang patungkol sa kanya (Muhammad).
7:157-158
"Those who follow the apostle, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper." day: "O men! I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah, to Whom belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but He: it is He That giveth both life and death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, who believeth in Allah and His words: follow him that (so) ye may be guided."
62:2
It is He Who has sent amongst the unlettered an apostle from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom,- although they had been, before, in manifest error;-
Ayan malinaw na alam ng Allah subhana wa taalah na ang kanyang propheta na isusugo ay hindi nakakabasa, papaano mo naisip na ipinababasa iyong Iqra.
Ito bibigyan kita ng sampol mula sa talata sa Quran.
17:45
When thou dost recite the Qur'an, We put, between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter, a veil invisible:
a) When thou dost recite the Qur'an

read
–verb (used with object)
1. to look at carefully so as to understand the meaning of (something written, printed, etc.): to read a book; to read music.
2. to utter aloud or render in speech : reading a story to his children; The actor read his lines in a booming voice.

They even mentioned the verses as example..

17:45
When thou dost recite the Qur'an, We put, between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter, a veil invisible:
a) When thou dost recite the Qur'an
b) وَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ
c) Waitha qarata al'qurana
Ayan malinaw na iyong nasa Quran 17:45 ay isinalin sa word na Qarata/recite, ito pa baka sabihin mo tulad mo ako na puro laway lang ang sagot.

Re: read! In the Name of your Lord Who has created (all that exists).

Natatakot ka bang masupalpal nitong english with arabic translation.

Hahaha balik ka nanaman sa umpisa kasi nasupalpal ka.
Malinaw sa quranic translations na hindi ginamit ng quran ang "iqra" as recite.
it used the word "yatloo" as recite.
Pinakita ko na po sa iyo ang ebidens.
